Everyday Make Up

Today I thought I would delve into the bottomless pit I call my make up bag and give you an insight into my holy grail/everyday products - These products are all tried, tested and trusted!

I use the Ted Baker Wash Bag as my make up bag, this is a patent black wash bag with gold zip detailing and matte gold bow with a centre jewel.

Base:
I firstly like to start with the Bare Minerals Neutralising Foundation Primer, I find this gives a really nice base for my foundation/concealer and also ensures smooth application.

Foundation:
I then like to apply my Bare Minerals Original SPF15Foundation in the colour Medium Beige, I apply this with my Bare MineralsFlawless Face brush to ensure an even application.

Concealer:
Once I have evened out my skin I always always always apply concealer and for this I use the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer In the colour Light? (Alternatively I may use the NARS RadiantCreamy Concealer in Custard) to blend my concealer I use my ring finger or my Real Techniques Flat Head Brush. I like to set the areas I have used Concealer on with the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder Pressed Powder in Translucent to apply this I use the Real Techniques Buffing Brush.

Eyes:
Once I have my base I move onto the rest of my face starting with eyes, on an everyday basis I use the Bare Minerals 5 – in 1 – BBAdvanced Performance Cream Eyeshadow in the colour Barley Nude and this is literally the easiest eye shadow to use, ever, you just wipe some on your lids, blend with your finger (or brush) and go!  Alternatively I may use the Laura Mercier Caviar Stick in Seashell for a more shimmery golden toned look.
I then give my lashes a good coating of the MaxFactor Clump Defy Mascara in Black (Waterproof) and then either the EYEKO Black Mascara or the Bare Minerals LashDomination.

Cheeks:
For contouring I like to use either the Bare MineralsCalifornia Bronze Pallet or the Kevyn Aucion Candlelight & Sculpting Creamy Glow Duo  I use the Real Techniques Sculpting Brush to ensure a percise and even finish, and on days that I want my cheekbones can been seen from space, I like to use TheBalm Mary-Lou Maniser highlighter with a Real Techniques Fan Brush.

Finishing:
On days when I’m going out in the evening or need my make up to look like I just applied it I use the Urban Decay All Nighter Spray.
