*KISSBOBO | Finding the Perfect Bra

Finding the perfect stick on bra that WORKS is a mission, and I hear you ladies you don't want to buying tones of different ones and trying them out because it takes too long and costs too much! Well, today I am introducing you to your new favourite.

This is the strapless stick on bra from KISSBOBO and it will be the only bra you ever need for that perky boobed look. This bra comes as two separates and sticks onto your boobs thanks to the stick on backing on the bra, the ends of both cups has a small clear clasp to be joined together once on the boobs and this is what creates the desired amount of cleavage in the chest. After each use it's super important to wear and wash your bra following the care instructions.

KISSBOBO was created in 2005, with the most professional R&D and production technology, they designed a new generation of silicone push up invisible bras to cover the multiple demands of women around the world. This bra constantly improve confidence of the modern feminine with sexy cleavage line. And the bras are the ideal for low plunge necklines, sheer clothes, off shoulder dress, halter, strapless tops, tank tops, evening gowns, low-cut outfits and wedding dresses without back-buckle.

So, the bra on show; The first image (the below image) is a plain satin top from New Look with a normal nude push up bra underneath. As you can see you can see my bra straps straight off, not cool, you can see the cups' rim shadowing though the top and there isn't really much boob lifting going on.
The second image (the last image) is the plain satin top from New Look with the KISSBOBO stick on bra, and instantly you can see the boobage going on. The top just skims the bra showing no visible lines and no edges are sticking out, the bra creates a nice cleavage which can be tailored to each and every person. So depending on how much boobage you want on the day you can create a natural full look or you can do a more enhanced plumper look, depending on your requirements and your needs. This bra does stay on for a good amount of time too! The longest I've worn this bra for is 4-5 hours and I didn't need to readjust the bra or restick/apply the bra, it was comfterable and no one noticed it!

Have you ever tried a stick on bra? What's your most embarrassing stick on bra moment?

*Adore Yourself this Fall | Adore Me

This fall Adore Me challenged me to show you how the seasons inspire my make up to change with it, and how I update my colourings and products in tune with the season. So today all we're going to talk about is a deep berry lip with a stark contrast ... and not the contrast you'd expect.

A deep purple berry lip is my ultimate fall staple, and year on year it never stops coming back, thank goodness. This winter I've gone for a deep purple from L'Oreal with gold shimmers running through it but I love a good contrast, so I've inspired my deep berry lip around the Rainey Unlined from Adore Me

This set is the ultimate fall collection, its' sexy but comfy and yet can be worn with a t-shirt for that lingerie on show look. A deep purple contrasting against the crisp white lingerie gives you an edgy but controlled look and allows you to show your rocker side, and lets be honest we've got one they just come out during your mid song vocal appreciation time.

The barley there straps and feather light material makes for the ultimate comfy set and with the hottest back you'll want to show off. With an open backed oversized jumper and this set underneath with some skinny jeans and edgy boots, this would be the perfect dressy/casual christmas look.

L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Gold Obsession Lipstick - Plum Gold

L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Gold Obsession Lipstick - Plum Gold

Finding that perfect Autumn/Winter shade to suit every skin tone is the most tiring job in the world, aren't you glad that us bloggers do all the hard work for you! Today we're talking about the new, the most perfect, the most beautiful shade to suit every single one of you.

This is the new L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Gold Obsession Lipstick in Plum Gold, this is the perfect deep plum colour for anyone and everyone the richness of the purple settles against the skin and creates the illusion of plumper and fuller lips. The lipstick has tiny little gold shimmery flecks running through it so it bounces the light off the lips and really emphasises the shape of the lips. The liner is the perfect combination to overdraw the lips with, it's not too dark to be obvious but not too light to not be noticeable.

The longevity of this lipstick is mediocre when worn with the liner it can last all day but when your eating or drinking from a cup or glass, it does have a tendency to wear off around the middle and it has does have a tendency to smudge when caught. The lipstick it's self is very opaque and has the most amazing colour pay off when swatched, and when applied to the lips it goes on like velvet and just glides across the lips getting into all the tiny areas.

Have you tried the new Gold Obsession range?

What My First Yoga Lesson Taught Me

What My First Yoga Lesson Taught Me

Definition; "Yoga is an ancient form of exercise that focuses on strength, flexibility and breathing to boost physical and mental wellbeing. The main components of yoga are postures (a series of movements designed to increase strength and flexibility) and breathing."

Well, it's definitely not Pilates I can tell you that much. It's more physically challenging and vocally confusing than Pilates but in a cool way, the words used in Yoga for the poses make you feel so much more sophisticated and like a proper yogi.

My first Yoga class was at my local gym and was with a whole bunch of people I'd never seen or met before, fab idea for someone with anxiety to do but I did it and I overcame it. The class begun with 5 minutes of deep breathing and centring, which for someone who's lying there having an anxiety attack was very needed, it then flowed into the moves and poses we did this for a good 50 minutes or so, and went back into a lying down position to recenter to end. The ending for me was the best bit, not because i could then go and continue to die in the sauna for 20 minutes but because as we all lay there exhausted from our session, the instructor asked us all to think about what we're thankful for and it was incredibly refreshing.

Lying there at the beginning and end of the class focusing on yourself and controlling your body made me feel oddly empowered, I felt like I could do anything in the class and it even made me feel confident enough to try and do the really hard poses - failing miserably of course. It's also definitely one of those classes you need the 'right' teacher for, you need a teacher who's empowering, confident and passionate about it, you need a teacher who's energy is going to flow with your own and really inspire you to push yourself during the class.

Yoga will definitely not be for everyone, it's not everyones cup of tea but neither is green tea and yet here I am but if you go to a class and go open minded, I think you'll be surprised at what you'll find out about yourself, your mindset and your bodies capabilities. I go to a class at my local gym and it's not as scary as I first thought, so go on give it a go.

Have you tried yoga before? What did it teach you?

Pilates - Why I Started and Haven't Stopped

Pilates - Why I Started and Haven't Stopped

Definition; "Pilates aims to strengthen the body in an even way, with particular emphasis on core strength to improve general fitness and wellbeing".
I started doing Pilates around October/November 2015, after first being diagnosed with PTSD/Anxiety/Depression and I haven't stopped since! I have private lessons with my instructor every week in the evening for an hour and they've done bounds of amazing things for my body and my metal health.

Pilates was developed by Joseph Pilates, who believed mental and physical health were closely connected and so his discovery and his beliefs are what help me strive forward today. Pilates is an incredible workout for your body and mind, during Pilates you have no room in your mind to focus on anything else but the movements or exercises your doing. There's no worrying about what your making for tea that night, or if you've got time to run to the shops after class, it's completely about you and getting your body to perform the moves correctly.
While the methods are different, pilates and yoga both develop strength, balance, flexibility, posture and good breathing technique. Both systems emphasise the connection between physical and mental health, although yoga places more emphasis on relaxation and uses meditation. Pilates is performed both on apparatus and mats, whereas classic yoga doesn't require any equipment. Pilates exercises are performed in a flow of movement without the static poses associated with yoga.

Pilates is amazing for the older you too! It's a very core strength based exercise which in turn aids balance, this is why older people who don't have a strong core are more likely to fall or loose their balance more easily than others. Pilates is all about strengthening and engaging your core which will not only activate and engage muscle memory for those super sleek looking abs but will also help to engage your transverse abdominis which is the main HUGE muscle that wraps around from your back to your front, that helps to keep your body stable.

Pilates has enabled me to not only build on my own body's natural strength and refine it but it has also helped me take on control of my mental illness, knowing that once a week I have full control over the class and if I want to push myself I can push myself, makes me feel amazing. It gives your mind the control it so desperatley craves in the most healthy way.

My local Pilates instructor is Sarah Pillage and you can find her here! If you want to find your local Pilates instructor Google or recommendations will be your best friend.

My 20's Morning Skincare Routine

My 20's Morning Skincare Routine

I see this caption used so much in You Tube videos and I thought why not put it into a blog post! Today's post was shot in the beautiful Jesmond Dene House, which if you've seen I've done 2 whole blog posts on too. I'm going to talk you through what products I use, the order I use them in, why I use them and what difference they've made.

"Nature gives you the face you have at 20; it is up to you to merit the face you have at 50". – Coco Chanel

Let's begin with the spray! I've been using a mini size of the Rodial Dragon's Blood Hyaluronic Tonic  now this is designed to be a hydrating tonic that rehydrates the skin and emphasises the skins real beauty. I've personally found since using this that my skin looks and feels so much plumper and so much smoother, it's a definite re-purchase type of product.

Next up is the Origins Original Skin Renewal Serum now I've always been on and off with using this but after it using it consistently recently I have seen a real difference in my skin. It looks brighter, radiant and it just has a healthy glow to it, and really makes my skin drink up my moisturiser.

For moisturiser I've been using Elemis, now Elemis is a brand that I will always swear by it works and it's beautiful. So I've been religiously using the Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream and it just sinks in your skin, my skin just drinks this up and feels so soft afterwards. Make-up sits beautifully on this and just glides on, plus it doesn't leave your skin oily or greased afterwards. Using this every morning has really made my skin look so much younger, at 22 I'm so wrinkle and crease conscious and using this gel-cream has made my skin appear and feel so much more youthful.

Eye cream finishes the routine and I've learnt how to use this eye cream the right way ... finally. This is the Olay Total Effects Eye Cream and if you use it the right way, like I should of done in the first place, this will honestly give you the most age rewinded eyes. I use quite a thick layer of this morning and evening and can honestly say that I've seen the difference this cream makes! My dark circles are nearly non existence and I can see my fine lines/wrinkles slowly disappearing and making my eyes just look more alert.

What are your ride or die products?

Jesmond Dene House with Scarlett PR * - The Morning

Awakening in Jesmond Dene House is an indulgence, hearing absolutely nothing as you wake up is a rarity and it was the most beautiful thing I’ve never heard. Waking up in an absolute pitch black room with not even a peep from people outside of your room is blissful and the most perfect thing I've never experienced.

Waking up to your own body clock in the most beautiful deluxe room at Jesmond Dene House is an absolutely stunning experience and has really set the tone for my mood since. Once woken and a bit worse for wear looking we had our room service delivered, and it looked heaven on a breakfast tray. I myself of course went for the best tasting Eggs Benedict with a fruit smoothie and a bowl of mixed berries with seeds and my partner went for Coco pops to please his inner child, fruit salad, chocolate muffin and a freshly squeezed orange juice and Jesmond Dene House do not skimp on portion sizes either! After tackling the mountain and sitting in a food coma for several minutes, we go showered and changed and decided to take a nosey around the house and discover all it's secrets.

If you've ever wanted a more beautifully perfect blogger photoshoot setting, you won't have to look any further because I've found it for you. The house is filled with original features, floods of light, high ceilings and is crammed full of local artists work! Every corner of the house has it's own little quirky feature, as you turn one corner you come into see the most beautiful grand fireplaces I've ever had the pleasure of laying my eyes on, around another corner is a picture-esk Harry Potter looking winding stair case, and around another corner is the main hall getting filled with furniture and decorations ready for another wedding.

Strolling around the outside of the house feels like your in a fairy tale, the new modern extensions on the house don't deter from it's true historic beauty. The big leafy gardens surrounding the house make you feel so secluded and almost like your the only people on earth in this one little space of the earth, it's a very magical and emotionally positive feeling. The original brickwork against us new age people looks remarkable and seeing everyone tucking into their breakfasts downstairs looking out onto the dark leafy gardens and the dene is a warming sight to see, parents with children, couples, and even the older couples that you aspire to grow up like.

The hotel incorporates all the little touches that you don't normally expect a hotel too, incorporating art work from local residents and showcasing there talents! These little touches are scattered all over the hotel which make it feel so much more homily and really welcoming. Other little touches include the unexpected resident, Riley. Riley moved into Jesmond Dene House around 2 years ago after continuously leaving his owners house to go to the dene, he ended up being a soft spot with all the staff and now has his own little home just outside the front entrance to the right. So if you come up to the dene don't forget to come and say hello to Riley! He's the sweetest staff member you'll ever meet.

So, will you be taking the plunge and dipping into the Dene's luxury?

Jesmond Dene House with Scarlett PR * - The Evening

Jesmond Dene House with Scarlett PR * - The Evening
Jesmond Dene House, Jesmond Dene Road, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE2 2EY

In October I was fortunate enough to spend a night at the beautiful Jesmond Dene House in Newcastle upon Tyne, arranged by the amazing team at Scarlett PR whom I’ve been fortunate enough to work with on this post.

Jesmond Dene House is a 4 star boutique hotel located in the leafy setting near the heart of the city. The house is rich in history and is neither a townhouse nor a country house hotel, it feels very much so like a grand luxurious lodge. The hotel is a late Victorian lodge built by Lord Armstrong the armaments magnate, who became a multi-millionaire after the profits from the American Battle of Gettysburg, for which he supplied both sides with their weapons. The house it’s self still contains incredibly historic features but offers understated luxury as standard, and the most unbelievable food I’ve ever tasted. The house overlooks the wooded valley of Jesmond Dene and this guarantees you a refreshing, peaceful stay, steeped in nature and luxury.

Upon arrival we parked our car in the private car parking provided by Jesmond Dene House, to walk up to an incredibly grand entrance of to which we were met by the lovely staff - who can’t offer to do enough for you. From there we checked in and where shown up to our room, walking through corridors with high ceilings and historic fixtures, we were fortunate enough to be provided with a Deluxe Room and when they say deluxe they do mean deluxe, I felt like royalty. Upon entering the room you’re immediately met with the grandness of the décor but the modernised look of today, to our left was a beautiful bathroom that just oozed luxury and as we walked in awe through our room we where met by the king size bed and seating area, never have I been so impressed by a hotel room before.

As we arrived on a Sunday afternoon, after previously staying a night at a little hotel in the city centre, we were met by the warming smells of dinners being cooked; and we were famished. And in traditional English style none the less than a classic Sunday roast was on the menu for us to enjoy, provided by the hotel, we dumped all our luggage in our room freshened up and went down for dinner at 5pm. Now the staff at Jesmond Dene House are faultless and can't do enough for you, so as we sat down and ordered our food we where given a bit of history about the house and also a back story behind the food, which is always a pleasure to hear. Dinner consisted of Corn fed Chicken, with Duck fat roasted potatoes, a mix of seasonal Vegetables, Mashed potato - of course, the most divine Gravy I've ever tasted and quite possibly the worlds biggest Yorkshire Pudding - it should be in the Guinness World Records. The food is nothing like anything you've ever tasted before, every single piece of food on the plate worked in complete harmony with each other and made you crave more, everything was cooked to perfection and the meat was the most juicy I've ever had, which is a bold statement for someone who eats so much chicken. After dinner we tucked in desert and drinks, of course, and I went straight in for the Chocolate Truffle with Beetroot mouse and Beetroot ice cream, strange you may say? No, beautifully exquisite.

After dinner, drinks and a mooch around the house whilst feeling incredibly full, we returned back up the grand staircase up to our room and decided to use the beautiful products left for us by Jesmond Dene House and have the most luxurious bubble bath in the worlds most perfect bath. The product I used was from The White Company and it was the NOIR Amber, Mandarin & Sandalwood shower/bath soak and it produced the most incredibly delicious smells, I've never smelt such a collection of warm, soft but edgey smells before and the Sandalwood really does come through so perfect whilst your soaking your worries away. After a relaxing bath and nourishing my body with the stunning body lotion to match, I slipped into the dressing gown provided by Jesmond Dene House and jumped into bed with a cup of tea and a hydrating face mask to begin my relaxing evening. The bed was a stunning king size with crisp white sheets and dark plum accent pillows to contrast, with a soft grey throw and headboard to add some subtle grey hues to tie the room together and with a striking red chasie long across the foot of the bed for the ultimate climb into the sheets.

Keep an eye out for Thursday's post, they'll be a lot of food and unexpected guests!

Will you be taking a weekend away at Jesmond Dene House?

The Realist Review Update

The Realist Review Routine Update

Today's post is going to be more of an update than a post as such. I've been making little tweaks across the blog, some you may have noticed some you may have not but they've been made and they've been made to enhance the blog.

So after taking to Twitters' poll button and getting your opinions, I've decided to give you guys more consistency and something to look forward too! So from now on all blog posts will be published on Mondays and Thursdays - Mondays because we all need a bit of cheering up and Thursdays because it will hopefully get you over that pre Friday slump. Routine and consistency is key to blogging and after a year and a half of posting every 3 days, I feel like were ready to take the transition to a more structured publishing routine.

A new post will be published every Monday & Thursday!

Are you happy with the new change?
