Luxury Staycation | Hotel Du Vin Exeter *

I recently was invited to stay at Hotel Du Vin Exeter thanks to the amazing team there and I cannot recommend the place enough! We where fortunate enough to be in the Studio Room which is the best room in the hotel and has a super king size bed ... heaven in a room.

Exeter is fabulous for shopping and has the most quaint high street, plus the Princesshay Shopping Centre is the best place to drag your significant other around doing endless shopping! And with the Hotel Du Vin being a few minutes walk from the main shopping centre and a 7 minute walk from the town centre the hotel is located perfectly for girls nights away or if your like me and want to drag your bag carrier (partner) around and need a local pit stop. The Hotel Du Vin Exeter used to be an old Eye Infirmary, with walled gardens and striking architecture to create the perfect backdrop for some of the most sensational photos.

So, lets get down to the rooms details. The Studio Room is largest and most luxurious room in the hotel and has an ensuite bathroom with a monsoon shower with a separate deep bath and is filled with REN toiletries, a girls hotel dream. The room comes with robes and slippers, a Nespresso machine for the morning boost or pre-night out boost and some of the most exquisite Twinings tea combinations, there's a desk/dressing table area and a hairdryer that actually dries your hair this year unlike the usual tiny little things that take 1 million years.

The room service is a must for those of you who like to lounge in the king size bed for as long as possible, and the bed is absolutely amazing to spread out in, you can literally starfish and not attack anyone who is next to you. The room service choices are so Instgramable and healthy too, for example one option was for a Chia Seed Pudding with Almond milk, Honey and Fresh Berries, so even if you don't want to over indulge at breakfast you can still be making healthy choices.

Speaking of Instagramable areas, the bathroom is a must for fellow bloggers or photographic enthusiasts alike! The huge window allows for tones of light to be poured in and the white tiled walls help to bounce the light around everywhere, creating the most stunning shadows. The bath is huge and free standing and incredibly deep, so it's perfect to drop a bath bomb into and melt all your worries away soaking down into it. Or if your more a shower type of person, the bath has a free hold shower and the option of a separate waterfall shower in the main bathroom area too.

Will you be staying at any of the Hotel Du Vins'?
