A Weekend in Chester

Just incase your not following me on social medias' * @realist_review * then you wouldn't of known that myself and my partner have just celebrated our 3 year anniversary! That's 1095 days of being together ... that's ages. So to celebrate we decided this time on Chester, home of the beautiful Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet - obviously my motive was shopping, little did he know.

After going onto TripAdvisor, which is my holy grail for any reviews! I stumbled upon the Crabwall Manor Hotel and Spa which is smack bang in the middle of everything you could possibly want/need. It's a few minutes drive from the city centre, Cheshire Oaks, the supermarkets, Chester Zoo, absolutely anything you want to do it's next door!
Now, the place, well what isn't there to say about the grounds its based on; holy moly they are beautiful. The Crabwall Manor Hotel And Spa is set back from the main road but is surrounded by the countryside and features all the original brickwork and architecture inside and out whilst incoperating modern features throughout.

The main feature of the room for me was the bathroom, the sloping bath tub with waterfall tap and light edged bottom made the whole thing feel so luxurious. Plus having such a large ledge running across from the bath to the basin meant I could sit there checking bath water, without having too do that weird hand dipping move we all do to check the temperature.

Everything about the rooms here have been carefully thought about, from the modern sloping door handles, to what kind of complimentary refreshments are laid out for you. The room it's self feels incredibly luxurious, from the glass topped desk and side tables too the large very grand feeling arm chairs by the window, the room just screams class and elegance. The room does showcase original features too; like the upper skirting board - this is a classicly designed wall/ceiling skirting board that ties in with the accent purple and gold feature wall.
The beds here a massive, and when I say massive I mean massive - King/Queen size to be exact. The crisp white cotton sheets have a beautiful contrast against the room but are still tied in with the large deep purple feature pillows and bed runner, plus the bed is incredibly comfy and you do get an amazing nights sleep.

All in all, if you want to visit Chester/Cheshire Oaks/Chester Zoo/City Centre this is THE hotel to stay at! For that chic old vintage look with the super modern vibe through out, and as a huge bonus the gym/swimming pool usage are included in your stay!

Have you visited Cheshire Oaks? Will you be taking a visit to Chester?
